What will I do if I need to delay or reschedule my appointment?

You can reschedule your appointment and your deposit will be transferred over to your future booking. If you are unable to reschedule, please contact us 027 958 8889 at least 24hours before your appointment or email us to lalanailsandbeauty@gmail.com for any changes. Please note deposits are non-refundable.
What will I do if I want to buy a gift card?

Our gift cards are available at our location 527 High Street Hutt Central, Lower Hutt or over the phone number +64 27 9588 889 Please come to our nail salon or call us for more details!

Should I get artificial nail (acrylic nails, gel nails) or not?

The answer depends on your personality and how appealing to others you want to be. In case you want a natural beauty, a well-polished hand with natural nails is appropriate although it will be less commitment and maintenance. Whereas, artificial nails will beautify your hands and show up your style and personality. Coming to Lala Nails and Beauty, your nails will be beautifully transformed according to your desired shapes.
Why we offer Customer appointments?

We offer appointments and also welcome walk-in clients. However, to avoid a long waiting time and disappointment, we strongly suggest you book an appointment with us. Please provide us with details about the services you are looking for to ensure we reserve a time slot specifically for you to give you the full experience you deserve. We recommend you arrive 5 – 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to discuss further details of your new set and explore our selections of colour. If you anticipate being late for the appointment, please contact our studio asap to reschedule. We will try to accommodate you in the best way possible.
How long does it take to remove gel?

To ensure that your gel polish is removed properly, please allow a time block of 15 minutes to complete this process. We wrap the nails with acetone and wait until they naturally lift to ensure the health of your nails isn't compromised.
How long does gel polish last?

A typical gel manicure can last up to 14 days with proper nail care.
Are gel manicures bad for your nails?

Gel manicures are not bad for you as long as they are applied and removed correctly.
What is the best way to maintain my manicure?

Keeping your cuticles and hands moisturized will keep your polish/gel from chipping and will also ensure a longer-lasting manicure. Applying cuticle oil daily will also contribute to the health of your nails!
How often should I manicure my nails?

The time between services generally depends on how quickly your nails grow and your daily activities/lifestyle. It is best to receive a manicure at least every two-three weeks to ensure the health and maintenance of your nails. Also, make sure you speak with your technicians about any nail questions or goals you may have as we are here to help you!
How Do I Prepare for my Pedicure?

Pedicure clients are advised to not shave their legs for at least 24 hours prior to service. Flip flops are sold and advised to bring along. We strongly discourage wearing disposable slippers outside of our salon.
